Prickly Personal Brand

Brand & Interview Leave Behind

Overview

“From Prickly Things Great Things Grow” sits at the heart of my personal brand. It’s built around the idea that good design doesn’t always start smooth, it can be messy, stubborn and a bit prickly before it grows into something strong and intentional.

Approach

I wanted a brand identity that felt honest, adaptable and rooted in real-world problem solving. The goal was to create a visual system that reflects how I work: patient, practical and able to turn rough beginnings into thoughtful outcomes.

Design

Cactus shapes, clean lines and simple colour choices form the backbone of the brand. These elements flow through my logo, type selection and the visual language used across my portfolio, business cards and leave-behinds. Everything is built to feel grounded, friendly and unmistakably “me.”

Outcome

A cohesive and memorable identity that captures the spirit of growth, resilience and creativity. It ties my work together, supports my tone of voice and gives me a flexible system I can apply across every touchpoint; from packaging concepts to client projects.
