Overview
Student Work: An annual report concept for Creative Spaces and the Abbotsford Convent, designed to communicate the organisation’s cultural, social and environmental achievements through engaging editorial design.
Approach
Finding the lively spirit of The Abbotsford Convent was key to determining the project direction. Focusing on balance, structured enough for clarity, and expressive enough to reflect the creative energy of the Convent community.
Design
Minimalist covers use a bold vertical colour bar inspired by the Convent’s architecture and creative diversity. Inside, full-page colour blocking, clean typography and black-and-white photography create rhythm and readability. Custom icons and infographics translate data into visual storytelling, blending professionalism with approachability.
Outcome
A cohesive and contemporary publication that celebrates creativity, connection and community, turning annual data into a visually engaging narrative that feels both authentic and inspiring.
